Esys Notetaker is the Perkins type of keyboard with Braille display. The device is small and stylish design which makes it easy to carry by people with vision loss. Esys Notetaker can help individuals with ‘early vision loss, computer vision syndrome, and visual impairments such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. Esys note takers differ in the number of Braille cells. The device allows users to read and write text messages and operate PC, mobile phones, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). In addition, it has two joysticks which allow the user to easily control Microsoft Windows menus as well as it has two navigation wheels which allows faster browse through information. Furthermore, it has installed applications such as Notepad, Agenda, Alarm Clock, Calculator, and Tools. Moreover, users can connect the device to their PCs via USB cables or Bluetooth. The device also available in different series based on the number of Braille cells such as ESYS12, ESYS24, ESYS40, etc.
